after you have read this rules and joined , this is your next stop. this is where you get figure out your character out, we ask that everyone completes the application so that we can know a little bit about your character. also, we will only accept applications in the pending board. seriously though - there are a lot of admins here, don't bug us to accept you. we'll accept you as quickly as we can.

this is where your application will be moved to after you have been accepted. if something changes about your character feel free to change your application at any time. we ask that as soon as you see your application in here that you post in the claims therefore there is no confusion with play-bys, etc.

after you have been accepted we ask that this is the first place that you guys come. we really don't what any confusion with play-bys or anything so we ask that you post exactly after this. it just helps us admins.

once you're character has been accepted and you're able to start role playing, a sub plot page will really come in handy. you can use it to keep track of all of your characters relationships and also to start new relationships and plots. its a great way to get yourself and your character involved in the site.

do you have a specific plot in mind and need a certain character made to help create it? thats what the request board is for. post your request in here and somebody will be sure to take it.

everyone seems to have one these days. it's like you can't go anywhere without this thing. here is where you can make threads for text messages and phone calls - kind of like how you do with the instant messaging board.

everybody does it - it is of course, the fastest and easiest way of communicating with others - instant messaging. whether you use aim, msn, or aol just about everyone has a screen name. you can sign on if you're bored, need to talk to someone, or maybe just make plans with a friend. then theres also the e-mail option, want to share pictures with a friend or family member who's far away? or just want to send a quick letter back home? e-mail is the way to go.

blogs seem to be one of the number one hits on the internet today. you can share how your day went, your plans for the week, any cool pictures, songs. with all of the freedom you get with a blog, more and more people seem to be using them.

this site is a calender where all of the major events and news in new york city will be listed and talked about. if you're looking for something to do or want to be filled in on something that happened in the town, this is the place to look!

this part of gossipgirl . net is specifically for pictures and small descriptions only. if you were out and saw someone or something that you feel gossip worthy, stay in guest format and post a topic for it in here. remember, this part of the site, you need the picture to prove it!

gossip girl has now also opened her blog up for others to post their own inside stories. unlike the spotted board - you need no real proof to post a story here.. which is why most are rumors. so if you know something that you're just dying to let everyone else know - here is the place to put it! be sure to keep stay in guest form when you post it, though. you wouldn't want to risk people finding out it was you who let their secret slip.

from the humble home sweet home, to the expensive penthouse to the rediculously luxurious homes. new york has it all. of course people always say no one judges you on your home, but secretly they all do and that's what these elite families do. they fix their homes with architects every now and then to add something new to talk about. but everyone knows the best homes are the ones that feel like home.

everyone knows the beauty of central park, it's great for a run or walking dogs, a picnic or just somewhere to go. it's big enough that you're not crowded together, but that doesn't mean it's going to be empty. enjoy the green space amongst the concrete city.

you're not going to live in new york without the millions of clubs and bars around. many of them have really poor records for serving the correct ages, dress up with makeup and heels and girls you're garunteed to get served, boys just look generally older. have fun, but not too much fun.

no matter if it's just a quick coffee in a cafe with a muffin, some fast food chain or a posh restaurant, new york has it all. From the most popular restaurants of the rich, the elite and the famous such as the fat buddah, pavillion or les petites to familiar names such as mcdonalds, kfc and starbucks.

opened approximately 50 years ago school has one of the best track records for producing top business and sports men and women. the school has always been known for the sports teams and the education it gives which is second to none. almost at par with the rest of the new york high schools, although still not reaching that all important perfection.

new york university has been one of those universities people die to get places in, because it is in a brilliant location and covers vast areas of subjects. despite a few generations back, when the university first opened, being one of those last option universities many people now regard the level of education one of the best. no wonder many of the elite families who would have been pressed towards yale a few years back are pushed towards nyu.
